Let's Go Exploring!

Integrative Wellness Coach

Heya!

I'm feeling very inspired today and while I can't really point to why, it feels so good to be in the flow of things! It could be a mix of knowing Spring is on the way, an extra day thanks to Leap Year, or maybe it's been finding myself caught in the social media algorithm that has brought Calvin and Hobbes back into my life.

I feel the flow connecting me to a lot of things I've disconnected from lately.

Can you relate?

This winter has been an avalanche of a lot. It's all just A LOT! Life, work, family, friends, news, weather, finding street parking, health. A. LOT.

So, what's a girl to do when life comes crashing down? Turns out I have a lot of tools at my disposal but also poor technique. It's like choosing a hammer to staple pages together. Strong tool; wrong technique (and then getting mad because c'mon! JUST WORK ALREADY!)

Except for, or rather, and also - I started to really feel completely like I'd lost control, of everything. My ability to contribute, to my body, and most frighteningly my mind as I spiraled. Panic ensued.

Until I used my tools as they were designed.

I'm employing MBSR techniques, I'm noticing my stressors, I'm prioritizing my wellbeing. I reached out to my support network and I softened towards myself by noticing now is a bit different than it was previously. And whether or not my ego thought that was ok turns out doesn't matter, because I am here now- ego be damned!

I wish I had Hobbes' excitement and exclaimed "EVERYTHING FAMILIAR HAS DISSAPEARED! THE WORLD LOOKS BRAND-NEW!" Truth be told, it's took some time to get to this optimistic vantage point.

What loosing control this time has taught me is what I really lost was connection. Pausing long enough, I realized "A LOT" was the only way I could describe what ultimately represented disconnect. All great ideas come with desired outcomes and expectations, but fresh starts can be scary. Especially without someone to ride alongside and navigate all the twists and turns with.

All Great Explorers Have A "Hobbes"

Who's your partner when you scream "LET'S GO EXPLORING" as Calvin did?

This is where inspiration hit me and I hope it hits you as well! If your answer isn't what you'd hoped, might I offer up myself as your ride along partner in exploration?

THE ASK & OFFER.

As you know I'm a certified health & wellness coach and advanced yoga instructor. I've been working to create something from the place where I see tremendous overlap and support for all and I'd love to ask you to be part of the test group. I'm reaching out to a very small group of people to invite them to both work with my new idea in exchange for your thoughts as I work this into a viable service offering.

The What: Coaching & Mentorship that employs proper tools & techniques to maintain forward momentum.

The Who: Feeling like nothing is working? You've used your best tried and true tools to get unstuck and yet are still gripping on for dear life? Just completed a major event in life and wondering - now what do I do? Then this is for YOU!

The How: Together, we're going to create a way that uses what YOU know, what YOU like to do, and we're going to find a way to get that sled moving, down hill, and pick up momentum along the way! You drive; I'll help navigate.

The When & Where: Here & Now.

While this was the final Calvin and Hobbes comic strip created, just like this fearless, rambunctious duo - the next adventure is about to begin!

Much love & gratitude,

Stephanie

Stephanie De Flora Integrative Wellness Coach "Life imitates art far more than art imitates life” – Oscar Wilde Hello Reader and happy September! It’s been 60 days since the 100-day challenge concluded - longer since you’ve received an email from me. (If you’re not sure what I’m talking about here, head on over to Instagram @processevolved and click on the 100 days pinned on top) During this time something fantastic, IMO, happened. Did my life completely change after the 100-day challenge?...

Stephanie De Flora Integrative Wellness Coach Change may be the only constant, but it comes with a lot of variables. With the first quarter of 2024 quickly closed, I find myself once again wondering about what I'm doing (and why). What is all this doing leading to? Ever have similar thoughts? I'm a integrative coach, meaning I combine all my experiences and knowledge to work through change. Keeping an eye on what's ahead, my coaching techniques focus on meeting clients where they are on the...

Hey – How’s it going??? I can't believe how long it’s been since we last spoke! It feels like yesterday we were laughing and talking about how great 2023 was going to be and BOOM – it’s over. I remember being so excited to share that I passed the national boards for health & wellness coaching and how that factored into my grand vision for 2023. Whelp – let’s just say that vision fell apart pretty quickly. It’s hard to express all my health drama of the first half of the year and the toll that...
